This is the first of three videotutorials, where we explain the main features and menus of the game, and also the arenas. This video has the enemies off.
We’re now processing the second and third videos with full comments about how to solve the math problems and combat against the enemy.
In this second wallpaper we can see a carrier shooting a laser to our ship, that is receiving a direct hit. Not a good idea if we are inside that ship. Remember: lasers lose power when farther. Take that into account.
We’re formatting some wallpapers inspired by the game and the novel that inspires the game. This is the first one. You can download the image and use below.
The EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) is the best weapon when things get hard. But remember, you only carry two or three, no more. This is the last version with better features and enhancements.
We’re now recording the tutorial video to show how to control and fight with the starship. That will be the first of three tutorial videos to explain how to get the best from the game.
The cloaking device is an experimental system that allows to hide your starship from enemy radars. You can use it to avoid combat with other ships, or to escape if necessary.
But be careful: the system drains a lot of energy, and is unstable. It´s a last option whenever possible.
What´s the essence of Math Combat Challenge? To put the player in a difficult position: choose between win by solving math problems, but win also by defending himself or herself from the enemy attacks, being in surface or in space.
We’re happy to inform that the Windows and Mac versions of Math Combat Challenge will be available on september 28. After that, will follow the work with the XBox One version, but today the game already works perfectly with pads.
We have finished the intro video that will be included inside the game at the beginning to show the main features of the game. You can see it below.
Don’t forget to take a look to the manual in the menu, english and spanish versions.
