TrackIR coming to Math Combat Challenge

We have just signed an agreement with NaturalPoint, the company behind TrackIr 5 PRO. This will allow us to integrate this hardware win Math Combat Challenge.

But what is TrackIR? It´s a device that is placed on top of the monitor. This system sends an infrared signal to a receiver, which can be located on the user or on the headset. Thanks to this system, TrackIR can triangulate the position of the head and its movements, and reflect this movement in the simulator.

This system is flexible and parameterizable, and is used by thousands of pilots of different simulators every day. It is a device that becomes essential for pilots of air and space simulators, and also in other simulators of cars, motorcycles, etc.

TrackIR integration will be available as soon as Math Combat Challenge becomes available. And remember: it will also be integrated with Oculus Rift, so you´ll always find a way to control your vision in the game.

Oculus Rift coming to Math Combat Challenge

We´ve been testing the space arena of the game with the Oculus Rift this week, and the results sound very promising. So we can say now that the first release of Math Combat Challenge will be Oculus Rift compatible, with more hardware coming soon.

Using a videogame with a good monitor is important, but the Oculus Rift is just a quantum leap ahead of what we have seen before. Its immersion is just incredible, as it is like being there in the space. We do recommend the Oculus Rift, or at least try the glasses. Amazing.

Messenger of the Náströnd. Chapter III

Spanish version here.

The hotel door opened. Martin pointed with his phaser to the figure that came in. There was no need to shoot. It was Sandra, who looked at him indifferently, as she connected the computer in the room and examined something. After a few seconds, Martin commented:

“How was the meeting with … those friends “? Sandra, without turning, replied:

-All right. I’m going to work for them.”

“You can’t do that, Sandra.”

“Why not?”

“You’re going to have to kill some people. Your programming …”

The new laser minigun is ready

Do they outnumber you? Short of fuel or defenses? Have you exhausted your energy for the system of concealment?

No problem. The new Titan Deep Space Company’s minigun laser has been designed to kill any light or medium target with one or two bursts. Aim, shoot, and continue with your work. And this week, two free loads with the purchase of a complete system.

Dogfight video test

This a test of a dogfight against two Antares fighters. Not so heavily armed like the Vega Fighter, the Antares normally attacks in pairs, combining their firepower. Be careful, they can flank you at any moment. You can see inside the cockpit a very simple math operation for tests. Activate sound if you want to hear the doppler effect from the enemy fighters. Of course there´s no air in space, but who matters, this is a game.

At the end the idea was to solve a very simple math panel, but an asteroid had another idea. We promise that was not intended. It´s the way the game works.

Image of the day: recording new video

There will be new videos coming soon. One of them will be the story behind the Math Combat Challenge game. That story is called “Messenger of the Nastrond” and is available here in the main menu, in English and Spanish. You can find an image of the video below.

There will be two more videotutorials, showing how to play the game. It won´t be easy, but there will be four levels so everybody can find a level where he or she can play. Math operations will be configurable in difficulty and type. And there will be a manual in pdf format. Thanks for your interest in Math Combat Challenge.

SK-212, a new era in energy weapons

Sometimes the industry takes a quantum leap in the development of new technologies. A leap that leads to a new era. Today we are attending one of those jumps. Thanks to the Titan Deep Space Company.

SK-212’s new Titan Deep Space Company’s new double-high-energy plasma system combines laser precision with phaser power, with spectacular results. Does a high-powered destroyer attack you? A particularly agile hunting?

No problem; The SK-212 plasma system only requires a couple of seconds on the target. Neither ablative shields nor high energy baffles will be a problem.

The SK-212 system will be used for the first time in the Math Combat Challenge on Titan, and we are convinced that you will be delighted with its firepower. Do not hesitate: SK-212 is your combat system. For more information, contact us, we will be happy to assist you.
