Final online manual is ready

While it’s true that a manual is never finished (we could say the same with the software), we can inform that the final version of the Math Combat Challenge manual is ready. You can access it here. Happy reading!

You also can read the manual in Spanish here.

Drone cubes and the final stages

The third arena, Titan, is being tested extensively. It has its own elements, and one of them are the drone cubes. They’re weak, but they also attack in groups. Activate the minigun and the Combat Mech to get ground support.

Remember you can also activate the owl drone for air attacks.

Ranks in Math Combat Challenge

These are the initial ranks that will be available in Math Combat Challenge. More coming in the future.

The rank is inspired somehow in the US Navy ranks, but there are some specific and clear differences. This game is based on a novel that happens in the future, and in the future a lot of things have changed.

Testing and more testing, it never ends

Over the weekend we’ve been working on a lot of aspects and improvements to the game. This video shows evidence of the main menus. We want the experience to be, from the beginning, the best for the player.

But we have a lot more to add after the release of the game. Including, let’s not forget, two new free scenarios.

The novel that inspires “Math Combat Challenge”

“Math Combat Challenge” is a game inspired by the novel “Messenger of the Nastrond”. Sandra is the protagonist of the novel, set in 2156, three years after the novel “The entrails of Nidavellir” (Spanish: “Las entrañas de Nidavellir”).

This novel will be published in english and spanish.

Manual finished (english version)

The english version of the manual is finished. The spanish version will come very soon. You can find (almost) all the features of the game there. Some features are hidden, but that’s part of the joy. Click on the image to access to the manual.

Videotutorial #3: starship combat

Videotutorial #2: surface combat.

Videotutorial #1: main features and menus.

This third and last tutorial explains how to fly and control the starship in open space. The video develops inside an asteroid area, so be careful. No time limit, but weapon, fuel and energy recharges are limited. We strongly recommend using a pad (Xbox, PS3/PS4 or compatible) but you can control the ship with the mouse and keyboard too.
