Math SteelCave Challenge is now ready

We are pleased to inform that Math SteelCave, our second math game for iOS, is now ready at the App Store, for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

Achieving an interest in mathematics that reaches all ages is a primary goal for us. To that end, the company has developed a version of Math Combat Challenge specially designed for people aged nine years and older: Math SteelCave Challenge. This version is located inside a powerful starship, within an infinite steel tunnel, where various obstacles appear, and also some elements, such as enemy ships or drones, which will try to prevent us from resolving the mathematical exercises with calm. The player will have to aim the ship to the numbers and shoot the lasers, solving the static and dynamic random panels, from sums to equations.

Math for young and not so young:

Math SteelCave Challenge is designed especially at Aimed at young people from the age of nine, it is designed to be fun and challenging for all ages. We intend to create several modules with different possibilities and mathematical challenges, and this second module is specially inspired in space. If you want a game for children, we also have Math Classroom Challenge for kids aged 4 to 12.

But we haven’t finished here, and we’re working on new titles to bring math to everyone. Have a great Math Day!

Math Classroom Challenge V.1.12 ready for download

We are pleased to inform that Math Classroom Challenge for kids V.1.12 is ready and can be downloaded now.

Highlights:

  • Removed option for graphic quality. This option is intended for the Windows/Mac version and not the mobile version, and can arise some problems. If you have a problem with version 1.02, please choose simple in config panel.
  • Water more realistic. We have added more force to water, and now when the water stops, the rest of the water falls as in reality.
  • New button: at the right center of the screen there is a new button. With this button you can generate random math dynamic panels. Just touch the button and a random problem will appear, throw water to the right solution. If you don’t push the button, random math problems will generate as usual.
  • One dynamic math panel. To avoid confusion, there will be only one active dynamic panel.
  • Modified the colors of the numbers in the dynamic panels so that they can be seen better.
  • Solved an error that sometimes could cause avoiding finishing the game when maximum errors reached.
  • Some minor enhancements and tweaks.
  • Remember you can configure the head movement in the config panel, if it is too slow or fast for you.

Thank you for your feedback, and have a nice Math Day!

Math Combat Challenge for kids Christmas Edition

We’re now working on a version of Math Combat Challenge for children that will have Christmas as the main element of the game. It’s based on the Math Garden for kids, but visually adapted for Christmas.

There will be a short version with just this area for iOS just for kids. We hope children will enjoy this scenario totally adapted to them.

“Realm of Helheim”, now available

The new free arena “Realm of Helheim” is now on Steam, as a free scenario for Math Combat Challenge.

Flying with the starship inside an infinite wormhole. Don’t try to leave the wormhole, that won’t be good for your health. This arena is a classical 3D arcade shooter in space. Remember Star Trek: the Motion Picture? When they fall in an infinite hole? Arm photon torpedoes! That’s the idea.

• Only main lasers are operational.
• Radar is down.
• Engine can’t be disconnect once it has been activated (F1 or left stick button).
• Drone cubes and numbers explode when touched in space.
• Shooting wrong numbers in space drains energy from shields.
• Minimal speed is always faster than 1000.
• Restore shields and weapons destroying enemy ships and drones, and also asteroids.
• Numeric radar malfunction. You won’t be able to track numbers, just visual.
• Don’t try to leave the wormhole, or go back. It won’t be good for your health.
• Finish math operation because the wormhole ends, it’s indicated by a regressive countdown.
• Take your medicine for your heart before flying this new free arena.

Realm of Helheim, the fifth arena for Math Combat Challenge, now on Steam.

Second free arena coming soon

The second arena will be ready in a few days. “The Realm of Helheim” is an infinite wormhole of fire that you must navigate with the starship. We’re also adding new features in the game, that you can see in the changelog.

Have a Math day!
