New article on IndieDB: “Tactical combat in Stellar Sphere”

We have a new article on IndieDB: “Tactical combat: the basis to score and survive“. Here we talk about different tactics to score the maximum points in Stellar Sphere while trying to survive.

Meanwhile, 15 days to release the game, and the hard work continues. Thank you for your support!

New video: Physics in Stellar Sphere

The work continues with Stellar Sphere, and now we have uploaded a new video, the third one: Physics in Stellar Sphere.

In this video we talk about the physics of the game around three basic elements: the Stellar Sphere, the Starship, and the gravity.

With this three elements combined, the player can choose how to configure the physics of the game in a way that can be adapted to any player.

The elements we talk here are related to Newton laws, and imply how the sphere and the ship moves and how friction affects the movement, and also if the player wants to activate gravity when playing.

Changing these parameters in the game using the config panels can dramatically modify the experience of the player. Sometimes easier, sometimes very hard.

The way you play is up to you: we give you the tools. You play the way you like it. The important thing is: never forget Isaac Newton!

You also have more info on IndieDB.

Thank you, soon more info coming.

Asteroid storm in Stellar Sphere

One of the random elements that will be available in Stellar Sphere will be the Asteroid Storm. If random elements is active with a probability greater than zero, there will be a chance that an asteroid storm will rise in the game. Be careful then, destroy the asteroids, and avoid being destroyed by the collisions.

More info on the Steam page.

Also on the official page of Stellar Sphere.

Introducing our new project: Stellar Sphere

Today we’re happy to inform that the development of “Stellar Sphere“, the new sports game in zero gravity, is in beta and ready will be available on Steam and later Xbox.

This is an action game where the player must capture a sphere, and launch it to the active wormhole in the stage in order to score. Meanwhile, you’ll have to deal with enemies that are ready to make your score impossible.

Five stages, 24 levels plus an infinite level, 4 levels of difficulty, and one objective: survive.

Very soon we’ll be opening the page on Steam, but you can read more about Stellar Sphere here. Thank you for your interest.

Monitor, Oculus, and soon HTC Vive

New info about the idea that Math Classroom Challenge needs an Oculus device to be played. This is not true. You can play with a standard monitor. Also with an Oculus, and soon with HTC Vive.

“The legend of Darwan” now on Amazon

We are happy to inform that the first book that inspires our games, “The legend of Darwan“, is now ready on Amazon. Ebook and paperback to choose.

Humanity has long disappeared. Its only memory is archived in old legends and myths. The Milky Way has disappeared as such, fused with its neighbor, the Andromeda galaxy, creating a new elliptical galaxy. Meanwhile, the Sun is heading towards its end. Converted into a red giant, planet Earth has stripped itself of all life.

It is then, more than four billion years from now, when a native species of the Earth, which had left the planet long ago, the LauKlars, descendants of the birds that populated the Earth in the past, return to their planet of origin to investigate their native world. What they find there, and what they set in motion, will activate a war machine that will break the balance and peace of all species in the Galaxy…

This is the first of the twelve books in the Aesir-Vanir saga, which tells the history of the Earth from the present to a distant future in a new galaxy, with a new species dominating it from one end to the other.

Math SteelCave Challenge is now ready

We are pleased to inform that Math SteelCave, our second math game for iOS, is now ready at the App Store, for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

Achieving an interest in mathematics that reaches all ages is a primary goal for us. To that end, the company has developed a version of Math Combat Challenge specially designed for people aged nine years and older: Math SteelCave Challenge. This version is located inside a powerful starship, within an infinite steel tunnel, where various obstacles appear, and also some elements, such as enemy ships or drones, which will try to prevent us from resolving the mathematical exercises with calm. The player will have to aim the ship to the numbers and shoot the lasers, solving the static and dynamic random panels, from sums to equations.

Math for young and not so young:

Math SteelCave Challenge is designed especially at Aimed at young people from the age of nine, it is designed to be fun and challenging for all ages. We intend to create several modules with different possibilities and mathematical challenges, and this second module is specially inspired in space. If you want a game for children, we also have Math Classroom Challenge for kids aged 4 to 12.

But we haven’t finished here, and we’re working on new titles to bring math to everyone. Have a great Math Day!

“Realm of Helheim”, now available

The new free arena “Realm of Helheim” is now on Steam, as a free scenario for Math Combat Challenge.

Flying with the starship inside an infinite wormhole. Don’t try to leave the wormhole, that won’t be good for your health. This arena is a classical 3D arcade shooter in space. Remember Star Trek: the Motion Picture? When they fall in an infinite hole? Arm photon torpedoes! That’s the idea.

• Only main lasers are operational.
• Radar is down.
• Engine can’t be disconnect once it has been activated (F1 or left stick button).
• Drone cubes and numbers explode when touched in space.
• Shooting wrong numbers in space drains energy from shields.
• Minimal speed is always faster than 1000.
• Restore shields and weapons destroying enemy ships and drones, and also asteroids.
• Numeric radar malfunction. You won’t be able to track numbers, just visual.
• Don’t try to leave the wormhole, or go back. It won’t be good for your health.
• Finish math operation because the wormhole ends, it’s indicated by a regressive countdown.
• Take your medicine for your heart before flying this new free arena.
