Math Classroom Challenge VR and AR almost ready

We’ve received confirmation from Oculus that the VR version of Math Classroom Challenge has only one issue. We’re working to solve that problem, and the VR version will be ready to go.

Meanwhile, testing is in progress with Math Street Challenge, that is, the Augmented Reality version (AR) of Math Classroom Challenge. Everything is ok and now we’re working to upload the game to the App Store for Apple’s approval.

This short video features Math Street Challenge, a short video where two dynamic math panels are solved, one ok and one with an error. You can see the static panels too, that are solved with the flying numbers. More info and a video coming soon.

Math Combat Challenge for kids Christmas Edition

We’re now working on a version of Math Combat Challenge for children that will have Christmas as the main element of the game. It’s based on the Math Garden for kids, but visually adapted for Christmas.

There will be a short version with just this area for iOS just for kids. We hope children will enjoy this scenario totally adapted to them.

“Realm of Helheim”, now available

The new free arena “Realm of Helheim” is now on Steam, as a free scenario for Math Combat Challenge.

Flying with the starship inside an infinite wormhole. Don’t try to leave the wormhole, that won’t be good for your health. This arena is a classical 3D arcade shooter in space. Remember Star Trek: the Motion Picture? When they fall in an infinite hole? Arm photon torpedoes! That’s the idea.

• Only main lasers are operational.
• Radar is down.
• Engine can’t be disconnect once it has been activated (F1 or left stick button).
• Drone cubes and numbers explode when touched in space.
• Shooting wrong numbers in space drains energy from shields.
• Minimal speed is always faster than 1000.
• Restore shields and weapons destroying enemy ships and drones, and also asteroids.
• Numeric radar malfunction. You won’t be able to track numbers, just visual.
• Don’t try to leave the wormhole, or go back. It won’t be good for your health.
• Finish math operation because the wormhole ends, it’s indicated by a regressive countdown.
• Take your medicine for your heart before flying this new free arena.

Realm of Helheim, the fifth arena for Math Combat Challenge, now on Steam.

Math Combat Challenge for kids

As promised, we bring the first free area for Combat Math Challenge: the Math Garden for kids. In this scenario there are no weapons nor enemies, just the static and dynamic math panels, and a water hose to choose the right solution (dynamic panels), or find the right numbers (static panels).

Everything with music and sounds suitable for children. This scenario will be available for free in the game next November 11th.

Math Combat Challenge now on Steam

Note: kids version for iOS available here.

We’re happy to inform you that Math Combat Challenge is now on Steam. with a 35% discount for winter sales.

English documentation here. Spanish documentation here.

As we have already mentioned, this game has two perfectly visible styles: first-person action and spacecraft action. We recommend taking a look at the manual to learn the basics of the game. The mechanics is very simple. The game itself contains a super-fast introductory video and the Stadium a tutorial with a Help Drone.

The ship’s theme is somewhat more complex, and the keyboard and pad maps indicate the functions in detail. If in doubt, disable enemies in the options panel, and practice with the ship without disturbance until you know the controls.

We are already working on the three new free scenarios that will be included in the game, one of which is especially suitable for children.

And remember: the object of the game is to solve the active static panels (with a circle around them), searching for the stage or space, and to solve the dynamic panels that appear suddenly before they disappear. That will be all. Apart from surviving clearly.

Have a good math day. Enjoy yourself.

New wallpaper: “Be a Math Soldier”

While the game is now active on Steam, and we are working to finish it, we want to bring a new wallpaper that is inspired on the novel “Messenger of the Nastrond” that is the source of the game story. Hope you like it.
